QUESTIONS

What a professional asks before subscribing.

Is this just a drawing program?+
No. CAD draws, but knows nothing about how a pond works. Atoll Maker connects the design to the hydraulic calculation, the sizing, the quantities and the construction documents.
Do the quantities come from the model?+
Yes. Pumps, pipe, fittings, sand and stone are measured off what you designed. Choose the rock and its density and the app returns the tonnage.
Which filtration methodology does it use?+
Up to 60,000 litres, the general principles used by Escola do Lago, with modular biological filters. Above that, masonry filtration to the industry standard used by the leading companies in Brazil, calculated parametrically — which is Pro. Above 120,000 litres a custom solution is required, with custom hydraulics, designed in the app with the Custom system (Pro).
Is there a size limit?+
Up to 120,000 litres the system is fully parametric: the app calculates it automatically. Hobby covers ponds up to 60,000 litres, the largest standard arrangement: three 20,000 litre modules; above that the pond needs masonry filtration, with its own schedule and bill, and that is Pro. Above 120,000 litres a fully custom solution is recommended, configured in the app with the Custom filter (Pro), which at present has no volume limit. You can draw a pond of any size on any plan; what changes is the system the app sizes for it.
How large is the biological filter?+
The default starts at about 10% of the pond volume for the complete system and can rise to around 20% for a heavy fish load. It is configurable.
Can it adapt to my company?+
Yes. Most parameters are adjustable, and for a fee your own methodology can be embedded in the app. A consultation is required.
Can I import my own libraries?+
Your own 3D models, yes: on Pro, as GLB, STEP or STL, straight into the Library, with up to 10 kept with the account. Your own equipment as well, on Pro: product cards for equipment such as pumps, UV clarifiers, ozone generators, filters and lighting, each with its figures and its 3D model in the same formats. Import of plants, stone and materials is planned for Pro accounts.
Do I need to install anything?+
No. It runs in the browser; Chrome is recommended. What the computer needs is under System requirements.
How does monthly work?+
It renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Yearly renews every year in the same way, and costs less.

You have 7 days to ask for a full refund.
